Giants’ Jackson Dart Introduces Trump, Teammate Disapproves

On Friday, Jackson Dart, the standout quarterback from the New York Giants, introduced President Donald Trump at an event in Suffern, New York. However, his teammate Abdul Carter wasn’t pleased with the situation.

Dart, only 23, kicked things off for Trump by leading a chant before welcoming the president onto the stage. “Big Blue Nation, it’s an honor to be here. Let me start with ‘Go Big Blue,'” he exclaimed, rallying the crowd momentarily before proceeding with the introduction.

“What an honor it is to be here. Without further ado, I thank you, and I am honored to introduce you to President Donald J. Trump, the 45th and 47th President of the United States of America,” Dart said, extending his hand for a handshake with Trump before stepping back.

Meanwhile, Carter expressed his disapproval by sharing a video of Dart’s introduction on social media. “I thought this was AI, but what we’re doing is humans,” he wrote on X.

Both players were first-round picks by the Giants in the 2025 NFL Draft, with Carter picked third overall from Penn State and Dart taken 25th from Ole Miss, after the team traded up for him. They’re expected to be key players for the franchise going forward, showing potential during their rookie seasons.

Carter, 22, played in all 17 games, totaling 43 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and four sacks, finishing the season strong. Conversely, Dart participated in 14 games, starting 12. His team didn’t fare well with a 4-8 record as a starter, but he completed 63.7% of his passes, amassing 2,272 yards along with 15 touchdowns and five interceptions. His running game was noteworthy too, with 86 rushes for 487 yards and nine touchdowns.

However, Carter has faced disciplinary measures due to attendance and tardiness issues, being benched for parts of a couple of games during the season.
