The Giants are set to do something this season they’ve never done before, as the franchise enters its 100th season.
The Giants will play their first regular season game in Germany against the Panthers at Munich’s Allianz Arena.
It is home to Germany’s oldest and most successful soccer team, FC Bayern Munich.
The game will be played on November 10th, Week 10 of the NFL season.
The NFL released the full schedule for five international games Wednesday morning, including the Jets’ matchup in England against the Vikings.
The first regular season game in Germany in NFL history took place on November 13, 2022, when the Buccaneers defeated the Seahawks 21-16 in Munich.
Last season, two NFL games were played in Germany, both in Frankfurt.
In March, the Giants were granted international marketing rights in Germany through the NFL’s Global Markets Program.
This will allow the Giants to activate in the German market through fan engagement, events and digital content.
This game will certainly help the Giants market themselves in Germany, even if it’s a home game for the Panthers.
