The Giants decided not to punt Jamie Gilan.
Two days before the start of free agency, the Giants re-signed the veteran punter, the post was confirmed.
According to the NFL Network, this is a three-year contract worth up to $10.2 million incentives.
The exact structure of Gillan's trading is unknown, but it is ranked as the seventh highest among NFL punters in terms of maximum value.
It includes a $4 million guarantee per ESPN.
The 27-year-old Gillan, dubbed the “Scottish Hammer,” was a punter for the entire Joe Shane Brian Dabor era after being with the Bills Practice team.
He averaged a career of 43.7 yards per punt, but was 48.2% in his boots' career within the 20-yard line last season.
Gillan's previous contract, signed after the 2022 season, was a two-year, $4 million deal. The Giants decided not to ruin the chemistry of their kicking tactics.
The Giants appear to be set to run for the fourth season with the same three core special teams.

Longsnapper Casey Kreiter re-signed his one-year contract last week. Kicker Graham Gano remains on the roster despite speculating that once automatic performance could become a salary cap victim (to save $3.6 million) since nose-driven in the last two seasons.
The Gilan doubles as a holder for Gano.
Other top punters scheduled to hit the market when free agency begins Monday include Commander Thlessway, Cowboys' Brian Angry, Panthers' Johnny Hecker, Chargers' JK Scott and Bills' Sam Martin.
