One edge, one edge.
A day after losing Azeez Ojulari to the Eagles, the Giants agreed to work with outside linebacker Victor Dimkeje, the post confirmed.
The 25-year-old Dimukeje has four sacks (during the 2023 season) in 55 career games, including eight starts for the Cardinals.
His resume includes a wealth of special team experiences, including at least 65% of the snaps on that side of the ball for the third year in a row.
The Giants are focused on signing backup linebackers who provide something to defense, not just special teams, which are one of the flaws in roster depth last season.

The Giants hadn't completely closed the door for Odurari's re-signation before ticking a one-year, $4 million contract with the Eagles, which is believed to be a discounted Super Bowl champion.
Asking former six-round draft pick Dimukeje to fill Odurali's role as the third edge rush (six sacks in 11 games last season) requires a big leap of faith, so the Giants think they're looking for pass rushing help.
