Gingrich Applauds Trump’s Middle East Peace Efforts

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich shared his thoughts on President Donald Trump’s impact on the Middle East peace landscape during a segment with Kayleigh McEnany. He expressed that Trump has fundamentally changed the “game” with his strategic approach, something that will be examined by historians for years.

According to Gingrich, “The great thing about President Trump… is that he’s completely focused on the present moment, but also thinking about the future. It’s like these two aspects of him combine in a remarkable way.” During his appearance on “The Ingraham Angle,” he referred to this period as significant. He noted that Israel has faced challenges throughout its nearly 80-year existence, and Trump’s arrival seemingly transformed everything. “No American president has done anything like this before…”

This development has also been recognized by President Biden, who sees the Israel-Hamas peace agreement as a triumph for Trump. Gingrich emphasized that Trump’s connections globally enable him to bring together different countries, showcasing not just personal relationships but also a commendable vision and strength.

He cited Trump’s Operation Midnight Hammer—an initiative that targeted Iran’s nuclear program—as evidence of the U.S.’s continued leadership role in the world.

Moreover, Gingrich suggested that figures like Xi and Putin must have been struck by Trump’s display of leadership during this moment, seeing the global support rally around him as a beacon of hope for establishing a peaceful Middle East.

This sentiment was echoed by others, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who connected the peace deal to a potential end to conflicts affecting his nation.

On Monday, President Trump signed a peace agreement with Hamas, officially concluding two years of conflict. This event coincided with the release of remaining hostages, allowing for emotional reunions with their families.
