Girl, 13, stabbed outside subway station in Brooklyn as cops seek trio of teen suspects

Authorities are searching for three teenage suspects after a 13-year-old girl was stabbed and injured outside a Brooklyn subway station Sunday night, police said.

Authorities said the girl was stabbed in the abdomen with a knife near the Atlantic Avenue Barclays Center station in Prospect Heights around 7:45 p.m. and was rushed to Maimonides Children’s Hospital in stable condition.

The NYPD said no arrests have been made but investigators are searching for three boys between the ages of 16 and 18.

It was not immediately clear what prompted the stabbing incident.

The stabbing comes as the city has grappled with an alarming surge in teen violence in recent months.
