Girl Scout cookie lovers may have to wait to place their orders due to manufacturing issues at their Kentucky manufacturing facility, the organization announced Thursday.
Iconic cookie producers Little Brownie Bakers said: said in a Facebook post.
“Global supply chain issues, local labor shortages and even unforeseen adverse weather conditions all impacted the sales season.”
LBB said its bakers are working “overtime” to fill the backlog of orders.

“This will only hurt the girls. The girls are disappointed. We can’t even get the product to our customers, so why should we try,” one unit leader said on Facebook. “So LBB won’t change the reward deadline, so why should we try?!?”
