The mainstream media is once again reporting nonsense, this time calling our nation's founding document, the United States Constitution, “dangerous.”
This absurd idea was stated in a New York Times op-ed titled, “The Constitution is Sacred. But Is It Also Dangerous?” The subtitle also reads, “One of the Greatest Threats to American Politics May Be the Nation's Founding Document.”
Glenn Beck It's scary.
“This should be a threat to our politics,” he said, before reading off some more anti-American drivel from the New York Times.
“Following Donald Trump's loss of the 2020 election, the United States Constitution is in crisis,” the article begins.
“Is that really when it became an issue?” Glenn asks. “I think it was a little bit before Donald Trump, like Woodrow Wilson.”
The article goes on to say that Trump is “seeking to fulfil personal ambitions” and “reveal his authoritarian tendencies”.
“So, I ask you all: Who's talking about remaking the Supreme Court right now? And by the way, I want you to know that's what dictators do all the time. It's the final step toward a banana republic. Once a president or a prime minister or whoever changes the makeup of the Supreme Court, that's the point of no return,” Glenn explains.
Meanwhile, the current Democratic presidential candidate took office without a single vote being cast.
“Totally normal, constitutional, totally normal,” Glenn jokes.
