Global outage hit iPhone iMessage last night

It’s not you, it’s Apple.

If you didn’t get a text back yesterday, it’s because iMessage was down for about an hour.

According to the outage tracker, more than 14,000 iMessage outages were reported just after 6 p.m. Thursday. down detector.

Some users received “undelivered” messages when trying to use the app, while others were forced to send non-iMessage texts with the dreaded green bubble instead.

The tracker also said users were having issues with Apple Messages for Business and FaceTime.

Power outages were also reported in Canada and the UK.

The cause of the failure is unknown, but some users have reported successfully resending messages.

The Post has reached out to Apple for comment.

Some users who flock to X (formerly Twitter) have also voiced their dissatisfaction with the outage.
