As Epstein's files slowly leak out to the public, some celebrities are downplaying their involvement.
One such celebrity is Jim Gaffigan. He used his time on stage at the Golden Globes to relive that memory.
“This is very exciting for me,” Gaffigan told the audience as he introduced the award for best performance in television stand-up comedy. “I can't believe I'm in the entertainment industry, or rather the Golden Globes.”
“That's impossible, that's highly unlikely. I'm from a small town in Indiana. I'm not a pedophile,” he added jokingly.
Dave Rubin was impressed that the audience actually laughed.
“Comedy usually works best when you tell the truth, make people laugh about it, and then people start thinking about it,” Rubin says.
“Obviously there are a lot of problems in Hollywood, for example with the political system and the Epstein list,” he added.
