Trump Gold Card Introduced for Quick US Residency
Former President Donald Trump revealed the Trump Gold Card on Friday, a program that enables individuals and businesses to obtain swift residency in the United States. The cost for this card starts at $1 million.
The card design includes an image of Trump, along with the Statue of Liberty and an American flag, all set against a golden backdrop. The name “Trump Gold Card” is engraved on the left side.
Trump stated on a post on Truth Social, “For too long, millions of illegal foreigners have been poured into our country, and our immigration system has been broken. It’s beyond time that Americans and American taxpayers benefit from our legal immigration system.”
Foreign Tourists to Pay “Visa Integrity Fee”
Visitors to the US will need to pay a $250 “visa integrity fee” to enter the country.
Individuals can buy the Trump Gold Card for $1 million, while businesses will eventually be able to acquire their own for $2 million.
Trump expects this initiative to generate $100 billion quickly, which he claims will be used to lower taxes, support professional growth projects, and reduce debt.
Interested parties can apply for “exclusive privileges” via the official website.
Labor Day Focus on “Workers First” Economy
According to the site, applicants must submit documentation, pay non-refundable processing fees, and trigger an expedited review from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Staff will then conduct thorough background checks and could reject certain potential cardholders.
Once approved, Trump Gold Card holders will enjoy legal permanent resident status, akin to EB-1 or EB-2 visa holders across all 50 states.
Possibility of Platinum Cards on the Horizon
The website indicates that the Gold Card status will function as a visa but could be revoked for national security reasons or other concerns.
Furthermore, a platinum card is also in the works, which would allow applicants to live in the country for up to 270 days annually without tax obligations on foreign income, effectively replacing travel visas. Although the Platinum card has yet to be released, applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, so interested individuals should consider joining the waitlist promptly.
