Gold Star families roast Kamala Harris: ‘Where were you?’

Former President Donald Trump attended a private ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery last weekend, along with three family members of fallen soldiers, to pay tribute to the 13 service members who died during the failed Afghanistan withdrawal attempt three years ago.

While Trump was honoring their lives, President Joe Biden was vacationing at the beach and Kamala Harris stayed home despite being invited.

Moreover, no military personnel or other government employees have lost their jobs as a result of this disastrous withdrawal, and many who have lost loved ones are understandably outraged.

“Of course, our kakistocracy doesn't work that way. Our bureaucracy doesn't work that way. As long as you follow progressive ideology, you can afford to fail upwards. Just ask Anthony Fauci.” Allie Beth Stuckey Many comments that people can “sympathize with.”

Kamala did not pay her respects at the ceremony, but used the opportunity to slam Trump for “politicizing the ceremony” and disrespecting sacred ground.

“She clearly has no moral high ground,” Stuckey said. “She has no right to accuse Donald Trump of being selfish. She is simply jealous that he had a choice and made the mistake of not being there to honor fallen soldiers.”

Kamala took to social media platform X to voice her criticism of President Trump, and the former president's response was shocking, to say the least.

Citing Kamala's original post, Trump tweeted a video of Gold Star families who lost loved ones that day, in which they criticized the Biden administration's actions that led to the tragic withdrawal.

One man featured in the video said each of the 13 affected families have “waited for more than three years” but have not even received a call.

“Where were you and Joe Biden on August 26th, 2024? Nowhere near Arlington Cemetery,” another family member said in the video.

In a letter of support to Trump from Gold Star families, Kamala Harris was accused of “exploiting this sacred moment for political tactics.”

“Vice President Harris has repeatedly ignored us and demonstrated a utter lack of empathy and accountability. Her failure to withdraw from Afghanistan and her shameful politicization of this anniversary demonstrate a lack of judgment, compassion, and leadership required in a Commander in Chief,” the letter continued.

“That's very powerful,” Stuckey said. “It's a good thing that Trump allowed them to use their words, because their words now say a lot.”
