Jerry Turner revealed why he’s “so happy” with his “Golden Bachelor” fantasy suite during an episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
Turner met Kris and Kendall Jenner during “The Golden Bachelor” airing in October, when the two had dinner together at Kris’ Calabasas home.
“OK, Jerry, so what happened in your fantasy suite?” Chris quickly interjected.
“I’m very comfortable doing an all-night interview, not for the reasons you might think, but because after spending five weeks getting to know these women, everything I say and do is recorded, I can’t wait to do an all-night interview where I can ask them questions without an audience,” Turner explained.

A friend of Kendall’s, who was also at the dinner, asked Turner what she learned about herself while filming the show.
“I get emotional easily,” he responded. “Every rose ceremony was hard. It was awful. It was a loss.”
“You know, I love your emotional intelligence,” Kendall said. “I mean, I guess it’s a function of age, but it’s such a beautiful thing.”
“I’m not smarter, I’m just older,” he explained.
“No, you’re clever,” Kendall replied. “Some men will never understand that.”

The finale hadn’t aired yet, but Kendall actually got to see who Turner picked.
“I’m going to blame it all on my mom,” Kendall said in a “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” confessional. “She was obviously innocently trying to help my husband figure out how to call our daughter. I caught him trying to call her like eight times that day.”

The couple married in a televised ceremony but filed for divorce shortly thereafter, with Turner and Nist announcing the news on “Good Morning America” three months after their wedding.
“Teresa and I have had many heartfelt conversations and have carefully evaluated our situation and living circumstances, and have mutually come to the conclusion that it is probably time to end our marriage,” Turner said at the time.
Nist added, “We’ve received so much love and support from so many of you who have watched The Golden Bachelor, and it’s hard to count how many people have told us that the show has given them so much hope. We hope that this never changes for anyone.”

Turner became the first “Golden Bachelor” after his wife died of illness in 2017. The two were high school sweethearts and married in 1974.
“She was robbed. She thinks about it every day,” Turner previously told “Good Morning America.”
“I have a picture of her on my dresser in my closet. Every morning I nod and ask her, ‘How do you feel about this?’ For a while I had a hard time figuring out if she was OK, but we always said that if one of us died, we wanted the other to be happy. She’s cheering for us in heaven.” [for me]She says, “Yes, Jerry. Do this.”
