The international team had a big day at the Presidents Cup on Friday afternoon.
They entered the second day down 5-0 and needed to pick up momentum to make up for all of Thursday's losses.
The Internationals started the first day with Hideki Matsuyama and Sung-Jae Lim defeating Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay 7&6, erasing a large gap.
Adam Scott and Taylor Pendrith dominated Saheeth Segala and Collin Morikawa to win 5&4.
Canadian duo Corey Connors and Mackenzie Hughes then defeated Windham Clark and Tony Finau 6&5. Christian Bezuidenhout and veteran Jason Day took it to the 18th inning, but ultimately defeated Max Homa and Brian Herman by 1UP.
The Internationals put their foot on the gas in the opening game and didn't give up until they secured victory.
It's hard to imagine anyone wanting to be this aggressive, but that's how they felt. They seemed to be on a mission and accomplished it.
There were so many great reactions to the international team's flawless performance throughout the day and night.
Check out some of the best games from Friday's Presidents Cup.
This meme about me, matsuyama assault on Americans is interesting. I think what happened in the opening game was appropriate.
Min Woo Lee and Tom Kim were absent from Friday's four-piece session, but that doesn't mean they weren't the center of attention. These two young men brought the atmosphere.
Lee wore a custom hockey sweater with “Chef Ming” written on the back, and people loved it. His catchphrase is “Let me cook,” so it was perfect.
It was an iconic moment for Australians.
Needless to say, Lee dazzled the crowd throughout Friday's game by fist-pumping and joining the international team's massive cheerleaders.
Claire Rogers may not be a fan, but her meme about Mackenzie Hughes' pep talk on the bus is great.
Something clicked for the international team, which narrowly fell short on Thursday. Whatever happened on that bus lit a fire within that group and they sent a message.
They lacked fans on Thursday, but made up for it on Friday. One guy in particular won seven shirts and performed in front of everyone on the opening tee.
He also caught the attention of Mike Weir.
The atmosphere for the home team was much higher throughout the day than it was on Thursday.
It also seems to have energized the international team.
These are just some of the reactions from golf social media as the Presidents Cup gets more interesting by the minute.
