Welcome to Golf Talk Today, the daily habit of Playing Through.
Every day, our crew will discuss a different element of the PGA Tour, LPGA, LIV Golf, and more.
Today we talk about racing throughout the LPGA season, what's happened since America's Solheim Cup win, and the women's schedule for the rest of the season.
Since the Solheim Cup, the LPGA has held two tournaments: the Kroger Queen City Championship and the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
Lydia Ko won in Ohio, her third win of the year. He made his first start since winning the British Open and won by a landslide. The New Zealander won by five strokes.
Last week, Jasmine Suwannapura won the Arkansas state tournament. She defeated Lucy Lee in a two-hole playoff to win her third career LPGA event. On Sunday, Suvarnapura shot a 10-under 61 and Lee shot a personal best 11-under 60 to advance to the playoffs.
Lee had an incredible performance Sunday, recording seven birdies, three eagles and two bogeys.
Most everyone knows that the PGA Tour ended its FedEx Cup season in August. However, the women's tournament year does not end until the end of November.
Take a look at the rankings and see where she ranks next to No. 1 Nelly Korda.
