PragerU announced on Friday that Google had removed its app from the Google Play store, with the group accusing it of constituting “hate speech.” documentary Dear Pagans: A Warning to America.
Plugger U Published A screenshot of a message from Google, in which the tech giant notified the organization that it was suspending its account due to content in the app that claimed protected groups were dehumanized, inferior, or worthy of hatred.
“We do not allow apps that promote violence or incite hatred against individuals or groups on the basis of race or ethnicity, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or any other characteristic associated with systemic discrimination or marginalization.” The tech giant had this to say about its policy on hate speech:

“According to Google, sharing the stories of a former Palestinian refugee, an Israeli-born Arab Muslim, and a brave US Navy SEAL who witnessed the horrors of Islamic extremism constitutes ‘hate speech,'” Prager U said in a statement on its website. “This is a blatant attempt to silence the truth and censor speech. We urgently need your help to fight back against this crackdown.”
PragerU also asked for donations to help it “counter these attacks, expand its influence on other platforms, and continue its mission to educate and inspire Americans with truth.”

Founded by radio host Dennis Prager, PragerU creates short, informational videos on conservative topics and has previously had its content censored by YouTube and its parent company, Google, and has filed multiple lawsuits against Google alleging that the company “engages in unlawful, misleading and unfair business practices” to censor conservative viewpoints. In a statement to Breitbart News, Craig Strazzeri, chief marketing officer at PragerU, said the company “refuses to be silenced.”
“Unfortunately, given Google’s track record of throttling our videos over the past few years, it’s not surprising that they have removed the PragerU app from the Play Store,” Strazzeri said.
“Google continues to show how powerful and dangerous they are by censoring ideas they don’t agree with. This is truly a David vs. Goliath battle. I think they’re hoping that we’ll give up and stop fighting, but they may not know it, but we at Prager U refuse to be silent,” he continued. “We will never stop when it comes to fighting for the values and freedoms that have made this country great.”
Google did not respond to Breitbart News’ request for comment at the time of publication.
