Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.), the Senate Republican's chief immigration negotiator, made it clear Saturday that his guiding philosophy on this issue is to love legal immigrants and illegal aliens alike.
Mr. Lankford is currently leading immigration negotiations in the Senate, working with most Republicans to reach a deal with Democrats who want to continue sending billions of American taxpayer dollars to Ukraine.
As Breitbart News reported, the Immigration Responsibility Project revealed Thursday that Lankford's reported immigration deal would include, among other things:
- Increase overall legal immigration to the United States.
- Grants work permits to adult children of H-1B visa holders.
- Expedited work authorization for illegal aliens released from federal custody.
- Lawyers for certain unaccompanied alien children (UACs) and mentally incompetent illegal aliens are funded by taxpayers.

Asked about his guiding philosophy on immigration, Lankford recalled a conversation he had with a pastor. Oklahoma during the Trump administration. On Saturday, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) denied the reported Lankford immigration deal, writing on Twitter that he was “absolutely against it,” along with a screenshot of the plan.

“There's nothing like that there. [restricts immigration]In fact, it just encourages more people to come,” Chris Chmielenski, president of the Immigrant Responsibility Project, told Breitbart News about the Lankford deal.
“This essentially gives the Biden administration the authority to continue to capture and release nationals into the country,” Chmielenski said. “We will give them the authority to give them work permits.” [to illegal migrants and] give them the power to grant parole [legal status] Remind everyone that they can reach the point of entry. ”
