Butler, Pennsylvania – Republican Reps. Corey Mills of Florida and Eli Klain of Arizona visited Butler, Pennsylvania on Thursday and raised several questions about the attempted assassination of former President Trump.
Mills, an Army combat veteran and tactical security expert, and Klain, a former Navy SEAL sniper, visited the scene and climbed to the roof where suspect Thomas Matthew Crooks shot Trump with a rifle, wounding the Republican candidate in the right ear, killing firefighter Corey Comperatore and injuring two other bystanders at the July 13 rally.
Representatives for the pair were on site, along with conservative commentator Benjamin “Benny” Johnson, to film an upcoming podcast episode of “The Benny Show.”
“I want to thank Navy SEAL sniper Eli Klein and Army combat veteran and tactical security specialist Corey Mills for bringing my team to Butler, Pennsylvania today,” Johnson said in a post on X. “They are both incredible lawmakers who will get to the truth of how that bullet ended up in Mr. Trump’s head.”

Klain, who has been to the site twice before, previously posted a video to X showing how easily it would have been possible for him to climb onto a rooftop about 150 yards from where Trump spoke and position himself for a sniper with a direct line of sight to the former president.
“Hey guys, I’m on top of the building where the alleged sniper shot up, and it’s not a very steep hill,” Crane said. “If the Secret Service or whoever had a sniper team up there, this guy wouldn’t have been able to get five feet off the roof.”
