Gorilla Drama Captured on Video
Gorillas are undeniably captivating and entertaining creatures to observe. Recently, a video from a zoo in Japan showcased a rather dramatic scene featuring a gorilla reflecting on life choices after a brief spat with a female gorilla.
Kiyomasa, a 13-year-old gorilla, was seen being chased by one of the females in his group. But it wasn’t the chase that caught everyone’s attention; it was what happened afterward. The video quickly gained traction online, showing Kiyomasa alone, seemingly lost in thought, with a distant look that many humans can relate to.
Honestly, we all could feel the weight of that moment. What could have led to this? It’s easy to speculate—it could be something as trivial as her being annoyed with him for not thinking through his antics. Maybe he needed to curb the playful yet slightly annoying habit of throwing poop around.
Whatever the reason, it clearly struck Kiyomasa pretty hard, reminiscent of a powerful blow. This scene honestly begs for a reality show centered on gorillas, perhaps titles like “Life with Silverbacks” or “The Real Gorilla Wives at the Japanese Zoo.” I think I’d watch that, even if it might lose its charm after a few episodes.
Regardless of a potential reality show, Kiyomasa might face some social repercussions following that little tussle. He might even have to think about making peace by bringing a gift. Fortunately for him, sticks are typically well-received in the gorilla world—though he’d better choose one wisely. A poor choice could make matters worse.
