Two illegal immigrants from Venezuela with suspected ties to the Tren de Aragua prison gang have been arrested in New York in connection with the murder and robbery of a 59-year-old man at a Connecticut hotel.
Police say Gregory Marlin Galindez-Torias, a 24-year-old woman, and Moises Alejandro Condro-Urvaneja, a 22-year-old man, are wanted in connection with the shooting death of 59-year-old Angel Samaniego. has been done. at a Super 8 hotel in Stamford, Conn. – about 255 miles from where authorities arrested them with their two young children at a New York train station.
They are charged with possession of stolen property, grand larceny and flight from justice. No murder charges have yet been filed.

Rensselaer police arrested them on suspicion of using the victim's credit card at the city's Amtrak station. They had two young children, ages 1 and 3, when police arrived.
“Our investigation revealed that both parties are in the country illegally from Venezuela,” Rensselaer Police Chief Warren Famiglietti said in a statement. “Both parties are believed to be connected to the Venezuelan transnational criminal organization Torren de Aragua.”

He said his department notified Immigration and Customs Enforcement of the arrests, which requested the two men's custody. They were each being held on $2 million bail.
