Gov. Kevin Stitt says ‘hate speech’ of protesters won’t be ‘tolerated’ in Oklahoma

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt (R) said “hate speech” by pro-Palestinian protesters would not be “tolerated” in the Sooner State and that he would ban Hamas supporters from the state’s universities.

Stitt said so many pro-Palestinian protesters have been arrested at universities across the country, many of them from Israel and Hamas, that began in the wake of the deadly Oct. 7 terrorist attack in Gaza. Universities across the country have had to deal with pro-Palestinian protests on campus, with students setting up encampments at some schools. The students are calling for an end to military aid to Israel and a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

After appearing on Fox News Monday morning, Stitt reiterated his claims about “hate speech.”
