Exploring UFOs and Conspiracy Theories with Patrick James
Patrick James, known for his documentaries and engaging content, has amassed millions of views on his YouTube channels focused on conspiracy theories and ancient mysteries. His podcast, “Strange with Patrick James,” highlights humanity’s intrigue with the mysterious and supernatural. With topics ranging from secret government operations to various enigmas from history, James uses storytelling and probing questions to explore these fascinating subjects.
In a recent episode of “Back to the People,” James partnered with Nicole Shanahan to delve into the topic of UFOs, a central theme in many conspiracy discussions.
Shanahan suggested that UFOs might actually be “government contractors flying around airspace,” with potential ties to significant undisclosed spending—around $2 trillion—as noted in a 2023 audit.
James discussed the infamous triangle formation of lights seen in Phoenix on March 13, 1997, which thousands witnessed. Though the military later attributed these lights to flares from a training exercise, that explanation left many questions unanswered, particularly regarding the crafts that unobtrusively moved across the city. In his documentary, he uncovered details that sparked controversy.
“What makes you uncomfortable?” Shanahan asked.
James replied, “It’s the gatekeeping that’s persisted for 25 years, with people filtering information from witnesses and photo and video evidence.”
His documentary included insights from Jim Diretoso, a pioneer in image processing and UFO researcher from Village Labs in Tempe, Arizona, who played a crucial role in analyzing evidence from the Phoenix lights incident.
After their discussion, Diretoso expressed concerns about the story of video evidence confiscation from witness Richard Curtis. James noted, “Jim identified contradictions more than once,” adding that it feels unsettling to probe deeper into conflicting narratives, especially around figures like Curtis who claimed to have encountered these mysterious entities firsthand.
James believes Diretoso may be concealing important information.
Reflecting on the large crafts observed that night, he mused, “I don’t think this is artificial.” He described seeing ships with “bright orange…lava lamp” bubbles and “rainbow mists,” suggesting that black hole theories might not be too far-fetched. The conversation between James and Shanahan wanders through various intriguing and often bizarre concepts.
