Gracie Hunt Backs Different Super Bowl Halftime Show Instead of Bad Bunny

Gracie Hunt Criticizes NFL’s Halftime Show Choice

Gracie Hunt, daughter of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, has expressed her disapproval of the NFL’s decision to feature rapper Bad Bunny, who is known for his anti-Trump stance, in next year’s Super Bowl halftime show.

During her appearance on FOX News, Hunt shared her enthusiasm for the upcoming Turning Point USA Alternative Halftime Show, stating that she is “definitely” looking forward to it. She praised Erika, who is involved in organizing that alternative event, for her efforts in creating a halftime show that resonates with American families. “Kids are young and impressionable, and everyone needs role models,” Hunt noted.

While she doesn’t have young children herself, Hunt empathizes with those who do and commended Erika for leading Turning Point and guiding young Americans. “Football is becoming a global sport, but it’s still fundamentally an American pastime centered around families,” she added.

Hunt expressed that her grandfather’s vision for the Super Bowl was one that would bring families together, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing the game itself rather than resorting to gimmicks that might alienate fans. “He believed that we shouldn’t compromise its essence,” she said.

Hunt also subtly criticized Bad Bunny’s suitability for the show, suggesting he falls short of the standard expected for such a significant event.

“The NFL should align its halftime show choices with values that respect women, the military, and the country,” she concluded, showing her support for Erika’s approach.

The decision to include Bad Bunny has sparked considerable backlash. Despite the criticism, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell maintained that the rapper’s selection is intended to promote unity among Americans and has rejected calls to change artists for the halftime show.
