Gracie Hunt Offers a Glimpse into Her Relationship

Gracie Hunt recently shared some personal moments from her love life on Instagram. The daughter of Chiefs Owner Clark Hunt gave fans a peek at her developing relationship with Derek Green, who happens to be the son of former Kansas City quarterback Trent Green. Interestingly, they’ve been friends since 2017.

The video begins with Gracie smiling while paddleboarding, the image almost conveys, “You look happy,” without saying it outright.

As the footage shifts to show Green on another paddleboard, the text overlay reads: “Thank you, I’m dating my best friend.”

Hunt, who is 26 years old, first hinted at her romance with Green back in April, shortly after causing speculation about her split from Cody Keith earlier this year.

At that time, she posted an Instagram story at Arrowhead Stadium, referring to Taylor Swift to illustrate her feelings. The caption included a nod to Swift’s 2020 song “Invisible String,” suggesting a sense of fate: “After meeting at this place 7.5 years ago… there were some invisible strings.”

Her relationship with Green became more public in May.

As summer rolls in, Hunt seems to be enjoying her time while also gearing up for the upcoming NFL season. The Chiefs had a strong run, reaching the Super Bowl in February, and aimed to become the first team to win three consecutive championships.

But the dream ended swiftly in New Orleans, where the Eagles defeated the defending champions 40-22.

Post-game, Hunt took to Instagram, stating, “I praise him when I win, I praise him when I lose. It wasn’t the outcome we wanted, but I’m very proud of this team’s heart and the incredible season we had.”

Now, Kansas City is looking to bounce back from last season’s loss as they aim for their third Super Bowl victory in four years. The Chiefs will kick off the new season against the Brazilian Chargers on Friday, September 5th.
