On November 28, a herd of vicious deer knocked two women off their feet during the annual Turkey Day Run in Watertown, New York. The wild ordeal, which was caught on camera, was compared by many on social media to the goofy Christmas song “Grandma Got.” I was run over by a reindeer. ”

“I never thought this song would become a reality,” one Facebook user wrote.

Another quipped: “A true classic. We've finally seen it.”

The videos released so far are go viralcaptured at least four deer butt participants at the start of the event.

One of the animals then came closest to two unsuspecting female runners and lunged directly at them in the middle of the road as onlookers screamed.

Footage shows the women left sprawled on the ground as the deer flees.

At least one woman was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. WWNY reported.

The other runner was treated at the scene.
