Authorities filed an additional murder charge last March, accusing her of slipping fentanyl into her husband's favorite sandwich on Valentine's Day, causing a severe but not fatal reaction.

An eyewitness identified by the CL only to the police told police that Kouri had requested Fentanyl in early 2022.

Shortly after Eric had eaten the sandwich, he erupted in hives and began to have difficulty breathing. According to court documents, he took his son's Epipen and took Benadril for hours before he fell asleep.

Eric's family was said to have tried to poison him on Valentine's Day after the murder, and when he tried to poison him on another occasion during his trip to Greece, he was in his way. He told authorities after the murder.

Kouri's lawyers Kathy Nester Lewis and Wendy Lewis and Alexander Ramos of Langford Ramos did not immediately respond to an investigation from Fox News Digital on Valentine's allegedly day poisoning.

The two lawyers previously stated in a March 2024 statement: “We recognize that the stage of the preliminary hearing supports the prosecution to an extraordinary degree and respects the court's decision. The charges against Kouri cannot withstand thorough scrutiny, and the ju-degrees find the same Sho.”

The next day, Kouri is said to have signed a contract for a “single” mansion after being declared that her husband had died.

Kouri pleads guilty to all charges filed against her, claiming that she did not kill Eric. She is scheduled to go to trial in April.

After her husband's death, Kouri wrote and continued to sell children's books about her father's death, entitled “You With Me?”, which previously was available for purchase on Amazon for $14.99.
