Greenland’s Prime Minister Mute B. Egede slams planned US visit as ‘very aggressive’

Greenland's leaders have denounced our planned visit to the island as “very aggressive” as an international crisis continues over President Trump's desire to annex the territory.

“The pressure from the very aggressive US on Greenland society is now so severe that we can't go high,” said Greenland Prime Minister Mute B. Ege. Interview with Sermitsiaq Newspaper on sunday.

“Until recently we were allies and friends and we were able to trust Americans who we enjoyed our work closely, but that's over.”

The island's left leader, Egede, expressed his territorial desire to declare independence from Denmark, was hit with White House national security advisers Mike Waltz and Chris Wright Energe on a planned visit led by Second Lady Uche Vance.

The delegation will visit Thursday through Saturday, visit US military bases and watch dog types.
