After three months cut off from the outside world, four contestants are now diving into a game show to understand what really transpired during their quarantine.
A new three-part game show series on Fox Nation, hosted by Greg Gutfeld, puts contestants to the test as they try to differentiate between fake headlines that earned a $50,000 prize and actual news stories.
“Can they distinguish real news from fake?” Gutfeld poses in a promotional clip.
“Have they really been isolated in a remote farmhouse for just three months? Only one contestant can take home the prize, while the rest go home without anything.”
Test competitors during three months of quarantine on Fox Nation with real and fake headlines.
Beginning Monday, Gutfeld will host this three-part series titled “What Did Greg Gutfeld Miss?”
The first episode will air on May 12, with a new episode released each day thereafter.
Gutfeld is already recognized for hosting the top-rated late-night show, “Gutfeld!”, and co-hosting the most-watched cable program, “The Five.”
“This might be the oddest game show ever. Just think about being completely shut off from news for three months—no headlines, no hot takes, nothing. Just silence from Gutfeld.
Since their isolation began, contestants have been quarantined at a remote farm in upstate New York from January 20 to April 13.
When they reintegrate into society, they’ll have to identify real news amid sensational headlines and unexpected guests.
“The last time contestants encountered the news, drones were hovering over New Jersey, Elon Musk had only 12 children, and there was a lot of money spent on transitioning boys to compete in women’s sports,” Gutfeld remarked.
“In just 90 days, huge changes can happen—like a new president managing three branches of government with a flamethrower reserved just for Washington.”
The four players will compete in front of an audience and regulars from “Gutfeld!” including Cat Tim and Jamie Lisaw.
“One of us will try to convince them that a story is credible, while the other will argue that it’s not. We’re essentially leading them astray, just confusing everyone,” Gutfeld explained.
