Gretchen Whitmer Just Did Something Very Weird With Doritos And A Girl On Her Knees

Democratic Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer just did something very weird on a podcast that involved a journalist on her knees and a bag of Doritos.

Whitmer appeared on MSNBC columnist Liz Plank’s podcast Thursday to discuss politics and the 2024 Election. But at one point in the episode, the two women staged a rather odd scene in which the governor fed her host a Dorito. (Click HERE to sign up for Mr. Right’s weekly newsletter)

The clip is vaguely pornographic. It also appears Whitmer and Plank were treating the Dorito as if it were the Holy Eucharist.

I’m not trying to be a religious curmudgeon or a prude, but this sort of nonsense from a political elite like Whitmer is exactly why so many Americans loathe the establishment, and why trust in elected officials is at an all-time low. They cannot be taken seriously. Ever. They are a laughingstock.

Even when politicians try to come off as breezy and hip in their attempts to appeal to young Americans, they come off as cringe dorks. They can’t hide how seriously they are trying to not be serious. Whitmer, rocking her camo Harris-Walz hat in the video, is just as painfully cringe as Harris when the veep was leaning into all the online coconut memes and brat summer trend in July.

For all the chatter about J.D. Vance and Republicans being “weird,” Whitmer seems like the weird one to me. Maybe she should lay off the Doritos and sexualized content, show a little more dignity as an elected official and focus on governing her state instead of hand-feeding a grown woman Doritos just so she can go viral among online Zoomers.
