Grizzlies general manager Zach Kleiman has shut down rumors about Ja Morant.
A day after Morant's talk emerged that could become the next NBA superstar to move in, Clyman called the concept that the guard could soon leave Memphis “nonsense.”
“We can't blame other 'executives' for fantasizing that we're trading JA,” Kleiman said. Drew Hill in Memphian every day. “But that's it – fantasy. We don't trade JA. JA, this team, this city, we continue to underestimate it. The performance on the floor speaks for itself. I think I am. I'm not going to give this nonsense any more oxygen and look forward to returning to basketball.”
