The AfCon business end is upon us already, and the hosts could really do with a win. Simon Adringra and Sebastian Haller are likely to start for the Ivory Coast against Equatorial Guinea, and that should pep up a low-amped attack. Equatorial Guinea looked rather decent in beating Guinea-Bissau and drawing with Nigeria, so this won’t be easy. Nigeria meanwhile take on a Guinea Bissau team that have zero points and are going home after today. This could be a tense afternoon.
Both matches kick off at 5pm UK time. Join me.

Guinea-Bissau may never be able to fully escape this situation.. If they win, they could be in line for third place. So it's all about playing for it.
It was bad news for my predictions about the Ivory Coast team.. We still don't have Seb Haller and Simon Adingra is just on the bench. Serge Aurier and Ousmane Diomand were replaced by Wilfried Singo and Willy Boly in a much-changed defence. In the attack, Jean-Philippe Classo and Jeremy Boga will be replaced by Nicolas Pépé and Oumar Diakité.
There are some changes regarding Nigeria. First of all, there is no Alex Iwobi. William Troost-Ekong will be on the bench, with Kenneth Omeruo replacing Troost-Ekong, while Bright Ossai-Samuel will also play. Iwobi will be replaced by Joe Aribo, with Moses Simon preferred over Ademola Lookman wide.
Starting lineup for Equatorial Guinea vs. Ivory Coast

Ivory Coast: Y. Fofana; Shingo, Conan, Bory, Ndicka. S, Fofana, Sangare, Kessie.Kuame, Pepe, Diakite

preamble
AfCon's business is already nearing its end, and the organizers can really win. Simon Adringla and Sebastien Haller are likely to start for the Ivory Coast against Equatorial Guinea, which should revitalize a sluggish attack. Equatorial Guinea looked pretty decent by defeating Guinea-Bissau and drawing with Nigeria, but this won't be easy. On the other hand, Nigeria will face the Guinea-Bissau team who have zero points and will return home after today's match. It could be a tense afternoon.
Both games will kick off at 5pm UK time. Please join us.
