Gwen Stefani Discusses Vacation Plans Amid Breakup Rumors
Gwen Stefani recently shared her upcoming vacation plans with husband Blake Shelton, putting to rest any speculation about their relationship status.
On a Thursday segment of the “Today” show, Stefani stated, “We’re doing everything we always do.” She emphasized their frequent travels to Oklahoma, mentioning, “We’re going back there this December and then we’ll be back to Los Angeles.”
Stefani, who is 56, noted that the couple celebrated two Thanksgivings with family recently. “I was lucky to be able to do that,” she expressed, adding that she loves Oklahoma, especially this time of year—it’s “so beautiful.”
The couple initially met while filming “The Voice” and settled in a mansion they built in Oklahoma shortly after their 2021 wedding.
Despite facing ongoing breakup rumors since the release of their duet “Hangin’ On” in March, Shelton previously reassured fans that the song is not indicative of their personal relationship. In an interview with Access Hollywood, he mentioned, “This song is a song that pushes us vocally and we love it.” He noted that they’re simply focused on enjoying the music they create.
The speculation intensified last month when they opted not to attend the CMA Awards together, despite Shelton’s nomination alongside Post Malone. Fans observed that Stefani hadn’t featured Shelton on social media since June.
However, on November 28, Stefani shared a candid photo with Shelton, dispelling rumors of discord. Furthermore, Shelton’s publicist labeled the breakup talk as a “complete fabrication,” solely aimed at drawing attention.
Stefani also made appearances recently, flaunting her engagement and wedding rings at the New York premiere of “Oh. What. Fun.” A source revealed that their marriage is “pretty good.” Attempts for comments from representatives of either star were made.
