Gwyneth Paltrow is Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
In her recent cover story Vanity Fairthe actress and founder of Goop said, “A lot of our institutions are really failing us, and that's this broad and drastic axiom that Americans feel.”
She continues, “Consumers are forming markets and people are starting to vote in their wallets on things like this.”
The Maha slogan was introduced in July 2024, with Kennedy leading the charges before and after confirmation as Head of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), promoting reforms such as restrictions on ultra-processed food and regulations on overhauling the agricultural sector.
Meghan Markle's neighbor Gwyneth Paltrow has reportedly stated that “attempt” of lifestyle brands “nothing knows her at all.”

Paltrow doesn't particularly mention Kennedy in the interview, but he has opinions that appear to line up his position on a particular subject.
One such example was glyphosate. This is one of many herbicides that Kennedy says he wants to limit his connection to diseases like cancer.
“We spray everything with glyphosate, it's a carcinogen, and all these lobbyists can keep everything right,” Paltrow said.
Kennedy and representatives from the HHS office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Paltrow also said he felt that US junk food had changed dramatically, saying he had eaten Peanut M&M on a recent European flight.
“I don't do that in America,” she said.
Rather than aligning herself with a particular party, the “Shakespeare's Love” star focused on the general need to change American health.
“Look, we are all incredibly flawed. I think the work of our leaders is something that makes people think. I'll take this study into my hands and try to make the best choice possible for me and my family,” Paltrow said.

She continued, “A lot of those leaders, well, they're all human, so they're all imperfect, sometimes they're incomplete and they're indeed in a real way, and it's really dissonant with how other people actually keep information, or how they feel that politicians are supposed to act.”
“I felt like I was holding the side of the chair. What's through all of this and what does it mean to actually bake and it's actually a policy?” she added.
“A lot of our institutions really make us fail. That's this broad, drastic axiom that Americans feel.”
Paltrow has been a lifestyle and wellness motto ever since founding the brand Goop in 2008.
Goop and Paltrow have faced a share of backlash over the years thanks to several controversial products and recommendations.

In 2018, Goop agreed to pay a settlement after being accused of making unscientific claims about three products, including the $66 Jade Egg, who claimed it could balance hormones, regulate the menstrual cycle and increase bladder control upon vaginal insertion.
The California Food, Drug and Medical Device Task Force said in the lawsuit that Goop's claims were “not supported by competent and reliable science.”
Goop agreed to pay a $145,000 settlement, but told SFGate in a statement, “While Goop believes there is an honest disagreement about these claims, the company wanted to resolve this issue quickly and amicably.”
The brand faced backlash in 2020 when Paltrow's Netflix series, The Goop Lab, debuted.

At the time, Simon Stevens, CEO of the UK National Health Agency, said these practices posed “severe health risks.”
A Goop spokesperson said the company is “transparent when it covers new topics that are not supported by science or may be in the early stages of review.”
Paltrow's own personal choices are being attacked, like in 2023, when he recommended that he call health tips, such as intermittent fasting and bone soup diets, be called the “star diet.”

In the same year on the Arts of Arts podcast, Paltrow said it was opened on her health journey, starting in 1999 after her father's producer, Bruce Paltrow, was diagnosed with cancer.
“I wasn't thinking [wellness] There were a lot until my father was diagnosed with cancer. I began to realize that there must be a connection through what we were eating and what we were exposed to,” she explained.

“And how it was expressed through illness. That's when I started to study what I could. To talk to people. Understand the links between environmental toxins, cancer… something that led to the creation of disease in our culture.”
It's not just celebrities who support the Maha movement.
Singer-songwriter Jewel defended herself after fans expressed disappointment at her decision to play Kennedy's first ball.
“As many people know, I'm a mental health advocate. If I've learned anything over the last 20 years, mental health affects everyone's lives across the party line,” Jewel said in a video released on social media at the time. “I reached out to the last administration and spoke to the surgeon general about the mental health crisis facing our country. I don't know if you know the statistics, but it's bleak.”

Jewel said she “doesn't agree with all politics,” but she believes there are people in the new Trump administration “who are willing to help with this issue.”
“Stop Your Enthusiasm” Cheryl Hines, who has been married to Kennedy since 2014, also appeared in Maha's first ball.
Although Hines doesn't always agree with every aspect of her husband's campaign or other members of the political spectrum, it appears she's supporting Maha on her social media while promoting her eco-friendly self-care company, Hines + Young.
