Amid her hectic life, Gwyneth Paltrow still manages to keep in touch with her close friends. Recently, she discussed her relationship with Meghan Markle, revealing that the two maintain a friendship mostly through texts. “So far, there’s a text friendship,” she mentioned at the Mind Valley Manifesto Summit. “I’ve traveled quite a bit.”
Paltrow previously addressed rumors of tension between herself and Markle. In the past, she had made a comment about not knowing much about their Montecito neighbors, which fueled speculation. “Meghan and Harry don’t know,” she said. “I mean, I met Meghan, who seems really nice, but I don’t know her at all. I might just take her a pie.” She also expressed her displeasure with the feud rumors, stating, “I don’t like it.”
This isn’t the first time the two have faced speculation. Back in March, Paltrow took to social media to dismiss the notion of any rift. Responding to a fan’s question about the supposed “beef,” she expressed confusion over the rumors, saying she didn’t understand them at all.
Recently, during a video stream, Paltrow even lightheartedly suggested she might be open to appearing on Markle’s Netflix series, “Love, Meghan.” When asked if she would join, her response was enthusiastic, “Sure! Why?” It seems despite the gossip, the two are building a friendly rapport after all.
