The Jets’ training camp headaches just got worse.
Haason Reddick has requested a trade from the Jets, Brian Costello of The Washington Post has confirmed.
He has not participated in any of the team’s training camps, including Monday’s, and missed the first half of offseason workouts.
The Jets quickly fired back, saying they had no intention of trading the 29-year-old.

“We have informed Haasson that he will not be traded, that we expect him to be here with his teammates and that failure to report to work will result in fines under the CBA,” Jets general manager Joe Douglas said in a statement. “Since trade negotiations in March, we have been clear, forthright and consistent in our position. As we prepare for the regular season, we remain focused on the players we have here.”
Redick was acquired from the Eagles in March in exchange for a conditional third-round pick.
