Haley Bieber seemingly aimed some indirect criticism at Scooter Braun following the release of Justin’s new album, “Swag.”
On Saturday, the skincare entrepreneur took to Instagram Stories to post selfies with exaggerated expressions, featuring wide eyes and full lips. She accompanied these moody visuals with Mariah Carey’s song “Attack.”
Interestingly, Haley shared a humorous image and a pointedly timed song just after Braun’s enthusiastic tribute to Justin’s latest work.
Brown, Justin’s former manager, praised the album as potentially the most genuine representation of Justin yet, stating that it showcases a clearer sense of his true self.
“He truly poured his heart into this, and you can really sense it in every note,” Braun mentioned. He further added that he didn’t directly contribute to this album, but as a longtime supporter, he felt proud and genuinely enjoyed the music.
He specifically highlighted “Daisy” as a standout track, noting its “unique quality,” and encouraged listeners to support authentic artistry.
Neither Haley’s nor Braun’s representatives responded immediately to inquiries regarding the situation.
This back-and-forth comes shortly after Justin, 31, reportedly reached a financial settlement with his former manager over a significant monetary dispute.
According to reports, the singer’s fortunes have surged recently, with plans for a lucrative contract with ELF Beauty, while he is expected to pay $26 million related to prior agreements with Braun.
This debt originated from a $40 million advance provided by AEG for tour support, which he has since had to repay after canceling his “Justice” tour in 2022.
Interestingly, Braun managed to resolve debts through his Hybe company, while Justin was reportedly left with a balance of $26 million owed.
After the financial resolution, Haley appeared to reference “stolen” materials from Def Jam on Friday, which might hint at underlying tensions.
In the run-up to Justin’s album launch, Haley actively supported him, reposting promotional images and engaging with his social media, drawing attention to Justin’s recent comments about paparazzi and his frustrations with them.
