Hal Lindsay, author of bestselling books Late Great Planet Earth The famous terminally ill teacher passed away on November 25th. He passed away at the age of 95.
Lindsay hosted two prophecy-themed shows on TBN. Lindsay gained national recognition with her book published in 1970. In it, Lindsay suggested that the geopolitical climate of the 20th century was consistent with the apocalyptic scenario described in the Bible. The book was written with journalist Carol C. Carlson.
The book was one of the best-selling books of the 1970s and was eventually made into a film of the same name in 1977, narrated by Orson Welles.

Christ's return, he wrote, will cause Christians to live with a sense of urgency and purpose.
“Instead of becoming pessimistic and falling out of life, we should rejoice in the knowledge that Christ may return for us at any time,” he wrote. “This should motivate us to reach as many people as possible with the good news of salvation in Christ. The Holy Spirit is working with people in dramatic ways and will guide you. ”
Bible prophecy, he wrote, “provides a solid foundation on which to grow your faith.”
“Despite the state of the world today, we believe there is hope for the future,” he wrote. “We believe that through an honest investigation of the tested truths of Bible prophecy, one can gain a secure and inspiring perspective on one's destiny.”
His goal in life, he said, is to win people to Christ.
“In any case, history continues to accelerate towards the second coming of Christ. Are you ready?”

Lindsay has written other books on prophecy. A new world is coming, the rapture, hope for the last generation, Satan is alive and well on earth, the final battle, combat faithand amazing grace.
According to his official obituary, Lindsey “came to faith in Christ as a tugboat captain on the Mississippi River.” He graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary. “This book gave me confidence” in Bible prophecy, he said. [the Bible] A mere mortal could not have written it. ”
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
