Hailey Khalil Returns for 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

Hailey Khalil is back in the spotlight with her appearance in the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, showcasing a striking cutout one-piece in a behind-the-scenes clip released on Tuesday.

Transitioning from a scientist to a content creator, Hailey expressed her excitement about being a part of this iconic brand’s photoshoot held in Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico.

“I’m back, baby!” she declared in an Instagram video shared by SI Swimsuit.

In another shot, she was seen modeling a strapless red dress.

Hailey, alongside fellow SI Swimsuit models like Olivia Dunn, Hunter McGrady, Brooks Nader, Lauren Chan, Bethenny Frankel, Molly Sims, and Jocelyn Corona, was photographed by James Macari.

The shoot took place in December 2025, just a month prior to Hailey facing a lawsuit from her ex-husband, former NFL player Matt Kalil. The lawsuit stems from Hailey’s comments about their marriage during a November Twitch livestream, where she discussed personal details, including remarks about his size.

In his legal filing, Matt mentioned facing “unwanted public attention and invasive comments,” stating that his family has been subjected to the ongoing public sharing of these personal remarks.

Legal documents obtained by TMZ indicate that Hailey did not mention Matt by name during the Twitch stream but did share specific details, claiming, “The size of two coke cans, maybe a third.”

Hailey and Matt tied the knot in Hawaii in 2015, but their marriage ended in divorce in 2022.

Since retiring from the NFL, Matt has kept a low profile and married model Keilani Asmus in April 2024.

This marks Hailey’s return to the SI Swimsuit issue after her last appearance in 2021. She first debuted in 2018 through the Swim Search casting call, where she became co-winner alongside Camille Kostek, and went on to appear in four consecutive editions.

Recently, SI Swimsuit teased that the 2026 issue will feature locations like Botswana, showcasing the work of photographer Reuven Afanador with models including Kostek, Alix Earle, Penny Lane, Achen Agutu, and Meredith Mickelson, who is making her debut.

Additionally, Hailey is set to host an upcoming Netflix competition series titled “Win the Mall,” which will premiere this fall.
