Halle Berry and Van Hunt’s Strong Relationship

Halle Berry and her boyfriend, Van Hunt, continue to share a solid bond.

The couple was spotted taking an evening walk in New York City, navigating the chilly weather hand-in-hand. Hunt wrapped his arm around Berry, displaying their affection openly.

Both were dressed warmly for the outing; Berry wore a stylish double-breasted coat paired with jeans and boots, while Hunt opted for a plaid shirt and green pants, layered under a hoodie.

Berry, at 59, and Hunt, 55, have been in a relationship since 2020, but they seem to be in no hurry to tie the knot.

A source shared, “They’ve discussed marriage, but Halle appears content with how things are.” It seems she appreciates the current state of their relationship.

Furthermore, the source mentioned that their relationship has been wonderful, with Hunt treating Berry very well. She feels grateful for him.

During a joint interview with Today.com in June 2025, Berry revealed that Hunt had proposed in the past, but she has put the plan “on hold.”

Hunt humorously noted, “I put forth a proposal, but it’s still pending. Maybe we can encourage her.” Berry clarified that their love doesn’t need formalities to validate it.

However, she acknowledged that the hesitation is not due to any doubts about Hunt, whom she has called the love of her life. “Out of everyone I’ve married, he’s the one I should have married,” she expressed.

“I think we should get married, and I want to, but it’s not about feeling obligated. It’s more about wanting that expression,” she said.

Berry has been married three times before. Her first husband was MLB player David Justice, married from 1993 to 1997. She then married singer Eric Benet in 2001, and they divorced in 2005. Her last marriage was to French actor Olivier Martinez, which lasted from 2013 to 2016.

She also has a 17-year-old daughter, Nahla, with ex Gabriel Aubry, and a 12-year-old son, Maceo, with Martinez.
