Handball gold medal game ends in boos at Olympics

On the final day of the Paris Olympics on Sunday, the result of the men’s handball final between Germany and Denmark disappointed many.

Both teams appeared to stop playing in the final minute, with Denmark easily beating Germany 39-26 to win the gold medal in the final.

In the dying seconds of the game, the German team started passing the ball around, but the Danish players stood still and didn’t put any pressure on the defense. According to The Sun.

The coaches and other players began hugging each other and celebrating with still time left.

Despite Denmark’s commanding lead, fans appeared upset at the lackluster finish, booing from the stands at the Pierre Mauroy Stadium.

But that didn’t seem to stop Denmark from celebrating their gold medal win.
