Randy Mahomes just wants to be normal.

“We just want to be normal and go out to dinner, but we don’t do that. At my job, 90 percent of the calls are not work-related, so it’s really hard. But we still want to go to work and live a normal life,” Randy said on the podcast.

“While I say we are blessed and Patrick is living the dream, for me it has been the hardest seven years of my adult life,” Randi explained. “It has been really hard juggling being proud of him with the hate that I and my children have received. I can’t even put into words how hard it has been. I’ve cried a lot. It’s been really hard.”
The Chiefs superstar began dating his wife, Brittany Matthews, in 2012 and married in March 2022. They have two children together, 2-year-old Sterling and 1-year-old Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, making Randi a grandmother.
Meanwhile, Jackson has been through a tough ordeal “after the truth came out,” with his mother saying the influencer was arrested in May 2023 and charged with one count of misdemeanor assault and three counts of aggravated sexual assault.
He had the felony charges dropped earlier this year and ultimately received six months probation after pleading not guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge.
He has been involved in several controversies before, during which negative attention was focused on his family.
In September 2021, a video was posted of him splashing water on Ravens fans who had mocked him, and just a month later, a TikTok video of him dancing on the then-Washington Football Team’s logo honoring the late Sean Taylor was posted.
“Patrick is living his dream, and I want that for all my kids too. [attention] “We’ve been overwhelmed by the response from all directions,” Randy added.
Negatives aside, his mother sees the positives in her sons’ widespread attention.
“They don’t even need money from me to take them to dinner,” she said. “They take me to dinner.”
