Vice President Harris' campaign released a new ad on Monday featuring former Trump administration officials issuing warnings against former President Trump.
“Best People” ” will air in conjunction with Tuesday's presidential debate on Fox News, as well as in Trump's hometown of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Philadelphia.
The ad includes quotes from former Vice President Mike Pence saying he would not support Trump this term and former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper saying he didn't believe Trump could be trusted with national secrets.
The footage also shows former National Security Adviser John Bolton warning of the damaging effects of a Trump presidency, and former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley calling Trump a “wannabe dictator.”
“Listen to the people who know him best: Donald Trump is a danger to our military and our democracy. We cannot allow him to lead our country again,” the ad reads.
The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment about the ad.
“This ad will remind Fox News viewers, and perhaps even the defeated former president himself, that Trump has put the nation at risk and his national security team can no longer tolerate him,” said Quentin Fulks, chief deputy campaign manager for the Harris campaign.
The Harris campaign also released three ads ahead of the debate targeting Trump on the issue of abortion, including one featuring the former president saying he was proud to have played a part in the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade.
