Harris campaign quickly posts clips of Trump praising Robinson

Vice President Harris' campaign quickly posted a video of former President Trump praising North Carolina Lt. Governor Mark Robinson (R). CNN's shocking report Republican candidate for governor of North Carolina.

The Harris campaign posted a video on social platform X of Trump praising Robinson. Notable moments At a rally in Greensboro in March, the former president called North Carolina's lieutenant governor “a double Martin Luther King.”

“I think you're better than Martin Luther King. I think you're twice Martin Luther King,” the former president said at the time.

The Harris campaign video was released just eight minutes after CNN's story was published.

CNN reported that Robinson had posted a number of inflammatory comments on a pornography message board more than 10 years ago, including calling himself a “black Nazi.”

Robinson campaign spokesman Mike Lonergan said in an email to The Hill: Link to video Lieutenant Governor Post to X Before CNN's story was published, he claimed that the campaign of his Democratic rival, Josh Stein, had leaked the news to CNN.

“Josh Stein has a long history of lying to North Carolina voters,” Lonergan said in an email. “Stein's false daycare ads and extremely dishonest claims about school board votes are a repeat of the same dishonesty we have come to expect from Josh Stein and his desperate campaign.”

Robinson announced Thursday that he intends to remain in the gubernatorial race following speculation that he would drop out.

Amar Moosa, a spokesperson for the Harris campaign, also posted a photo of Trump and Robinson on X shortly after the CNN report.

“It's a photo of Donald Trump and Mark Robinson. For no particular reason,” Moosa said. she captioned the post.This was just four minutes after the article was published.
