Harris gives cringe-inducing answer when asked to name a weakness

Vice President Kamala Harris' not-so-great performance during a town hall with CNN on Wednesday, filled with awkward answers and non-answers to basic questions about her positions on several important topics. .

One such example is when an audience member asks her to name one of her weaknesses.

She started saying that she actually thought it was a strength, harris said She surrounds herself with a team of people with different perspectives.

“Her habit is to go to Ward Salad City.''

“My team will say, I always say, 'Okay, let's kick the tires. Let's kick the tires.' Because, listen, I — like I said, I started my career as a prosecutor. As a court prosecutor, I experienced everything from minor crimes to murders, and my actions directly affected real people in very fundamental ways. “I learned very early in my career and adulthood to give,” Harris explained. .

Because of that self-consciousness, Harris said she often cannot answer questions right away during interviews and other situations because she needs to consult her team.

“So when I get asked a question about a particular policy issue, sometimes I don't have an answer right away because I want to find out about it. “It's a policy issue,'' otakus sometimes confess. And some might call that a weakness. This is especially true if you are asked a specific question and are expected to answer correctly, such as during an interview. But that's how I am, that's how I work,” Harris said with a laugh.

This word salad of answers didn't impress even longtime Democratic supporters on CNN. “What concerns me is when she doesn't want to answer questions,” said David Axelrod, a former adviser to President Obama. “Her habit is to say things like Salad City, and she has some… I did that with the answer.”

CNN host Dana Bash said she has heard from Democrats that “even if her goal was to get a deal done, I don't know if she would have done it.”
