Sen. Kamala Harris has handpicked Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate in the 2024 presidential election, according to multiple reports Tuesday morning.
She will feature Midwest governors, former U.S. Army enlisted men and union advocates at a rally Tuesday night in Philadelphia, after which they will tour key battleground states.

Many Democrats appear to be waiting for the campaign’s official announcement before forming their opinions on the choice.
Harris, 60, announced her support for him last month, a day after President Joe Biden withdrew from the running despite being seen as the Democratic presidential nominee, Breitbart News reported.
Walz, who has served as Minnesota’s 41st governor since 2019, only posted a tweet after Biden dropped out suggesting he had spoken to Harris and received her endorsement.
