Harris tops Trump by 1 point in Wisconsin: Survey

In Wisconsin, Vice President Harris is leading former President Trump by one percentage point. According to the survey The poll was released by AARP and conducted by nonpartisan polling team Fabrizio Ward and Impact Research.

The latest poll, released Wednesday, showed Harris with 49% approval and Trump with 48% approval, with 3% of those surveyed saying they were undecided.

Harris' lead over Trump comes from “the support of nearly all Democrats” and an 11-point lead among independents.

But the survey showed a shift in support among voters over 50, with Trump leading with 47% support among those surveyed in that age group, to Harris' 45%, the data showed.

Trump also leads Harris by 10 points among voters surveyed between the ages of 50 and 64, while Harris leads Trump by six points among respondents aged 64 and over, the survey said.

Wisconsin older voters said immigration and border security, the economy and jobs, and inflation and rising prices were the most important policy issues.

Fabrizio Ward and Impact Research interviewed 1,052 voters, including a statewide representative sample of 600 voters and an oversample of 452 voters over the age of 50. The survey was conducted September 11-14.
