Harris, Trump campaigns ramp up: Where they’ll be on Monday

As the election continues to be contested between the two main candidates, Vice President Harris and former President Trump's campaigns are starting the penultimate full week of the 2024 presidential campaign in earnest.

Harris is wasting no time as she plans to visit three of the most important battleground states on Monday with former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.).

They are scheduled to participate in a moderated conversation Monday in Chester County, Pennsylvania, in the early afternoon, in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, in the midafternoon, and in the evening in Oakland County, Michigan.

Harris and Cheney warned of the risks of a second Trump term for the United States and called for a new path forward for the American people that focuses on the needs of the American people, rather than the divisiveness and chaos of Donald Trump. “We plan to present the following challenges.” to be Harris campaign press release.

President Trump will address the press at 12:00 pm EDT in Asheville, North Carolina, where he will see first-hand the damage caused by Hurricane Helen. He will hold a rally in Greenville, North Carolina, at 3 p.m. EDT.

The campaign said Emhoff will “emphasize the vice president's plan to strengthen the middle class, protect the fundamental freedoms of Pennsylvanians, and be a president for all Americans.”

President Trump's running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), has no public events scheduled.

But the Trump campaign is starting a bus tour of Pennsylvania on Monday, with the first event scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m. EDT in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. The tour concludes Friday in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
