First she was a spoiled brat, now she’s a Midwestern princess.
Vice President Kamala Harris made headlines after selecting Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate. Harris Waltz camo hat.
The $40 hats, designed to reflect Waltz’s image as a down-to-earth Midwestern dad, sold out within 30 minutes at the campaign merchandise store.
campaign She told Teen Vogue Tens of thousands of people put the caps on backorder, causing sales of the caps to reach nearly $1 million in just a few hours.
However, this design is not domestic. Camouflage hats sold by pop star Chapel Rowan.
The Missouri native sells her own “Midwest Princess” hats for the relatively affordable price of $30 and doesn’t appear to be part of the marketing effort.
The singer of “Is This For Real?” and “HOT TO GO!” Ask Xretweeted a photo of the two hats side-by-side.
This is a bit of a throwback from the Harris campaign’s previous crossover with pop music.
After President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race, paving the way for Harris to run, Charlie XCX called the vice president a “brat” – both a nod to her newly released album and a reference to her new album.
(For the uninitiated, Charli XCX describes a “brat” like this: “You’re that girl who’s a little bit messy, who likes to party, who might say stupid things sometimes. You feel like yourself, but you’re kind of on edge sometimes. But you party through it, and you’re very honest, very forthright. You’re a little bit quirky. You do stupid things. But that’s a brat. You’re a brat. That’s a brat.”)
Some fans were not impressed with the Harris-Waltz campaign’s new tactic.

“Isn’t the US government targeting your brand?!?!?!? You have so much influence,” one fan said. Responded Roan’s tweet.
Others flooded the comments urging Roan to endorse Harris.
“You and Taylor Swift are going to make this election so exciting,” one fan said. Posts.
All that’s clear is that only a lucky few will get to experience this summery fusion of Midwestern Princess, Harris and Waltz.
Anyone who doesn’t get one of the 3,000 hats in the first sale and decides to pre-order for the next batch will have to wait until mid-October, just a few weeks before the election, to get their hands on one.
