Harrison Ford doesn't plan on slowing down anytime soon.

in a recent interview GQthe 82-year-old actor spoke about his decades-long career in Hollywood, including his latest project, “Shrinking,” in which he plays Paul, a therapist suffering from Parkinson's disease. While many of his contemporaries have already retired from acting, Ford has no plans to quit acting anytime soon.

“I feel like I should be sitting in a chair, but actually I love my job,” he told the outlet.

Throughout his 60 years in the entertainment industry, Ford has starred as Han Solo in the original Star Wars trilogy and in the legendary adventure series starting with Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark. – Created many iconic characters such as Jones. 1981.

The “American Graffiti” star first appeared in the Apple TV+ comedy “Shrinking” in 2023 as Paul. The show stars Jason Segal as Jimmy, a grieving therapist juggling a career while raising his teenage daughter. When both Jimmy's career and personal life go off the rails, Paul has to step in to give him the reality check he needs.

Director Ford said, “It seems like a difficult task, but it was done with grace and charm. When I read the script that Brett Goldstein gave me, I knew it was a success.” “And because he has success in both drama and comedy, I was immediately drawn to him. The “Star Wars” actor also has other projects in the works. Ford has signed on to play Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, aka Red Hulk, in Marvel's new movie Captain America: Brave New World, scheduled for release in February 2025.

When talking about his entry into the Marvel Universe, Ford calls himself “a sailor who's new to town,” and goes on to say he's “joining a new part of the business,” which viewers should know. He said it looked like he was having fun.

“I certainly need to be conscious of my business profile, but if it's like I'm working more and the business is supporting me working more, I'll do one for them and I always thought they would do one for me,” he told GQ. “So, I think it's important to do what we really wanted to do because of the people involved and the subject matter and the characters, and then do what we think will be popular.” ”
