Ford's character is one of his colleagues. His Parkinson's disease diagnosis was revealed at the end of the first season.

Ford: “I don't mean to make a joke'' told the people.

“But there are people who absorb this kind of experience with grace and courage and a little bit of wisdom. That's not to say there aren't others.”

The Star Wars star further added, “It's just that this is a person who is particularly equipped to convey what it's like, and that's something we can share with our viewers.” It's something I feel is worth doing,” he added.

Lawrence, 56, told the Post earlier this month: “The greatest gift of my professional career was being able to be a part of this stage of Harrison Ford's career. It was amazing. He's so conscientious. He's so passionate. ”

Lawrence said the role might be emotional for Ford because the superstar is in his golden years.

“I think it's going to be emotional for him. I don't think we're talking about finishing school, because we both love our profession and are nervous about having to give it up someday.” Because I'm writing about a man who feels,” Lawrence said.

“He brought an emotional level that I wasn't expecting, and he made sure I didn't feel like this week's sick, trauma porn kind of thing,” Lawrence said of the role played by Ford. He talked about a psychologist.

“It's really, really a tribute to my father, Michael J. Fox, Phil Stutz, and Brett's father that Brett and I wrote about Parkinson's disease. We were very, very grateful.”

Last month, Goldstein revealed on Late Night with Seth Meyers that the character is based on his father.

“I mean, my dad has Parkinson's disease, and I couldn't help but talk about it publicly when we were talking about the show,” he explained.

However, Lawrence says he accidentally “let it slip.”

Afterwards, Goldstein said: “I called my dad and he said, 'Listen, Dad, Bill told me he has Parkinson's disease. I hope that's not a problem.' And he said, 'I'm Harrison Ford. Are you going to tell everyone?” And I said, “Yeah,” and he said, “Okay.” keep it up. Please do your best. ”
